“It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High:” Psalms 92:1

As we celebrate Thanksgiving Day tomorrow, I wanted to share a few things I am thankful for with you.

  1. I am thankful for my salvation. I sure am thankful for the day God showed me I needed Him. On July 20, 1994 I asked Christ to come into my heart and forgive me of my sins. Based on His Word, He did that, and I am thankful for salvation.

  1. I am thankful for my family. So many today don’t have a good family, or a family that gets along with each other. I am thankful for a mom and dad that raised me right and have always been involved in my life. I am thankful for my sister, who is not only a sibling but is one of my best friends. I am thankful for a good wife and three beautiful daughters who are healthy!

  1. I am thankful for prayer. There are times when I can’t talk to anyone else about the things I am dealing with, but I sure am thankful that I can always talk to my heavenly Father!

  1. I am thankful for God giving us His son, Jesus. God didn’t have to love us enough to send His son to die for our sins, but I am thankful He did!

I encourage you to try to focus on things you are thankful for this week. Take time to tell someone you are thankful for them, and most of all take time to thank God for His many blessings in your life.
