"Salvation"

This past Monday, we celebrated Memorial Day. We set aside this day to remember those who have given their lives serving our country. Because of their sacrifice, we enjoy the freedoms we have in America today. THANK YOU to all who gave their lives for our freedom and who have served or continue to serve our country.

“Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” John 15:13 

A little over 2,000 years ago, a man named Jesus made the greatest sacrifice that has ever been known. Jesus demonstrated His love by giving His life so that each of us could live eternally with Him in Heaven one day. There is a requirement that must be met in order for us to go to Heaven. That is, we have to accept Him into our hearts. 

“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Romans 10:13

 If you have never accepted Christ into your life, I encourage you to do that today!
