Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

Isaiah 41:10

We are definitely living in different days, and Satan desires to plant fear in our lives.

I have lived my life without the presence of God in it, and I live my life presently with the presence of God in it. Without a doubt I can say living with the presence of God in your life, and walking in His fellowship, is the greatest joy and best life you can ever live.

While this world is trying to cause us to fear, Isaiah assures us we don’t have to live a life of fear because the Lord is with us! Three simple things about His presence today…

1. His Presence Is Powerful

His presence has the power to drive away fear. For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.  (2 Timothy 1:7)

In John chapter 6 the disciples were in a bad storm on the Sea of Galilee. Just when they thought all hope was gone Jesus came walking on the water and here’s what He had to say… “But he saith unto them, It is I; be not afraid.” The presence of Jesus drives fear away.

2. His Presence Is Personal

Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen. (Matthew 28:20)

These are the words of Christ. It is not an angel that is with me always, but Christ Himself! I enjoy the fellowship of my friends, I enjoy time with my wife and kids, but the greatest time I have each day is when I spend it with my heavenly Father. I am glad that God is not just some figment of my imagination, but He is personal to me!

3. His Presence Is Perpetual

The word perpetual means never ceasing; continuing forever in future time; continuing or continued without intermission: uninterrupted; as a perpetual stream; the perpetual action of the heart and arteries.

Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. (Hebrews 13:5)

No matter where we go in life or what we are faced with I sure am glad that God will always be by our side!!
